Sustainablity & Social Partnerships
Nedson creatively fulfills every client’s requirements. At the same time, our founder is driven to find creative, sustainable solutions.
Conservation is at our core
Joe is a lifelong sportsman. Since he is more than likely spending his free time walking amongst the trees with a fishing rod or hunting rifle, he makes sure that his work has the most reasonable impact on the environment possible.
Radiata Pine: The Core Solution
Nedson has landed on platnation grown Radiata Pine as a sustainable option. It holds up extremely well to most of our customer applications and is readily sourced from sustainable plantations.
This is the stuff. Radiata grows fast, contributes to the ecosystem, and makes a quality product for our customers.
Resourceful and Committed
Nedson is a family company. We have seen the wood products world changing for the better and are happy to be a part of that evolution. As we rear our kids, we continue to consider the best uses of our shared resources.
Nedson Woodworks Joyfully Partners With a Local Redmond Institution
The Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon (OFCO) started on the side of Highway 97 in 1964 when a local cattle broker came upon some families taking their developmentally disabled children to a makeshift school. From that beginning, and with a spirit of contribution and caring, OFCO started on its mission to provide life improvement services within supportive and respectful settings for Central Oregonians with disabilities.
Joe and the rest of the Nedson family have a long history of integrating great manufacturing with the meaningful work of OFCO clients.
Working with meaning is important to Joe and Nedson. Know that your product is produced in concert with the community we live in, including this great local organization.
